This afternoon we had a drive to Stonehaven then walked around the harbour.
With the colour of the sky it could look like a summers day but it was a cold, frosty day and a bit slippery under foot.
Here are some photos.

My morning started off with a wonderful walk on a chilly but beautiful frosty morning in Caddam Woods, Kirriemuir.
Enjoy walking with me as I share some photos.
Fungi of some description. It is definitely not frost. Can anyone identify it?

A frosty seat
A frozen puddle.
Sure woody woodpecker has been here
Some more fungi starting to grow.
This also looks like some sort of fungus growing on the tree.
The field still had some frost on it.
After this walk we went home for a hot drink to cosy up.
We continued our day with a drive to Glamis and then did a walk around the grounds followed by lunch in Glamis Castle Restaurant and then another walk.
The start of our walk.
A tall and unusual tree.
Princess Margaret’s Memorial
This is a Magnolia called Princess Margaret, I will need to go back to see it in Bloom in the Spring.
The picturesque Glamis Castle on a perfectly blue sky day.

I just had a wee stroll to check on plants. There is still a wee bit of foliage colour but it will soon be gone. I will just share with some photos in this blog.
A clematis still in bloom and lots of buds.
Lost its leaves now
