Baby Standard Fuchsias

I have decided to try my hand again at growing standard fuchsia whips.

They are so easy to grow start with a 3 leaf  or you can use 2.

Then pot them up in a 3”pot with a small cane.

I have some spare canes that come with my orchids so I use them but you can use anything.

Then keep them straight tying against cane and grow on till required height before you make head.

My finial pot size will be a 5”pot

As they start to grow I shall update with fresh photos of my baby standard fuchsias.

A stroll in my garden after the snow

For the past few weeks we have been having a wonderful spell of weather and all was coming in to bud or bloom in the garden when we had a set back of colder weather arrive. And by Monday that white stuff from the sky they call snow fell on our garden and has spoiled some blooms.

Come stroll with me and enjoy the pleasure of our Daphne
