Hi everyone, here is a great way to make a raised bed.
Got the idea from Craftygardener.
The hardest part was getting the drum out of the washing machine. I believe it took some brute force!
At first I was going to leave the drum outdoors but as you can see in the next photos, I have taken it into my Greenhouse to use as a strawberry planter.
Strawberry’s planted are Lucy, Elsanty and Honeoye.

Hi everyone. The country is experiencing a real cold snowy winter.
My last blog was Magical Morning Walk. A week later and we have had a lot more snow.
Many schools have been closed due to this weather and all of the birds are so so hungry and it is a a full time job keeping them fed.
Here are some of the snowy photos.
And under all this snow are my Spring bulbs starting to show.
And after all this snow we shall be cheered up with a splash of Spring colour again.
Hello everyone, we had a heavy snow shower this morning.
So once the snow stopped I headed out on one of my daily walks.
Now come walk with me and enjoy the magic.
Over on the Trowels Forum, we have a snow photos thread. I’ve posted my latest shots here. Feel free to contribute your own to the thread!

This afternoon we had a drive to Stonehaven then walked around the harbour.
With the colour of the sky it could look like a summers day but it was a cold, frosty day and a bit slippery under foot.
Here are some photos.
