Just a few more days of some sunshine and soon all our spring bulbs shall be dancing with joy.
Come and enjoy my glimpse of Spring in my garden
Hope you enjoyed my bit of Spring which is on its way again

Here we are into February and we still have not had much of a winter as it has been rather mild.
There is snow on high back hills but nothing lower.
It is so nice to stroll in garden and can see what shall soon be full of colour. Even the Birdsong has arrived. I will share some of my photos below.
Aconites starting to appear
Galanuthus shall soon be open
Trillium a wee bit bigger
Hellebores binging to show to
My Spring Festival Camelia is in bud again now
What to look forward too - the tulip bulbs are pushing through the ground
Speckled Hellabore
And soon daffodills again
It is a rainy day here so I thought I would have a look through some of my old photos. Come and enjoy a touch of Spring Colour while we await the delights in my garden and some of the gardens that I have visited over the years.

Wishing all a Good New Year and Happy Gardening in 2014
I had never had Orchids until my husband came back from a business trip and brought back cut Orchids from Bangkok and and then I became hooked on these beautiful flowers.
I was amazed how long the cut flower Orchids lasted. I can remember still having some blooms left after 6 weeks! Having got the bug, I started looking at Pot Orchids and started to buy.
Let me share what I have had over the years, some I have lost but I am now happy to say that I can get re-blooms consistently on my Phalaenopsis plants. It is so exciting!
I have it down to a find art now and feed my Orchids according to this simple advice:
When pots are light and roots are white…
its time to feed to make them bright!
I have also had Dendodriums and Cambria but so far no re-blooms yet. I did have a Cymbidium one year but didn’t have much luck - I may try again sometime.
I also had this Odontonia in 2009
