Keukenhof Gardens 2004

I would like to share some of my tulip photos taken on our trip here in 2004.

The tulips were so beautiful and it is hard to have a favourite as they are all nice.

They stand so tall. Mine never seem to do that.

In the Autumn I planted many tulip bulbs in pots in my own garden. This will give me pots of colour in the Springtime. In the photo below you can see Valeria Finnis Muscari. I liked them so much that I now have them growing in my own garden.

On our way to the Gardens we saw many fields and Glasshouses of tulips.

There were so many different colours throughout the garden. An artists paradise.

And lovely Orchids which were stunning in the indoor display area.

And their famous windmills.

And finally, one of many flower stalls. Had it not been so far, I would have had a field day in here!

  2. Beautiful shots. I consider tulips to be my gift to myself for getting through winter. It is such a gift to see them popping up through the ground after a tough winter.
