A whole day in the walled garden of Glamis Castle

What a difference the sunshine can make.
We had many nice visitors today and it was so nice to hear their wonderful comments.
Karen was hoeing the main borders while I was hoeing the borders against the apple trees until it got too hot to work! Will get the last bit done another day.
It was so nice to see the sun and that our daffodils have opened.

This is where I started to weed from the Victoria plum against the wall and right down to the gate.

  1. Hi, looks like a bit of good work has gone in there :-) Is there already a woodland garden here, since you were thinking of sharing your trilliums and placing some here? It would be important for a good establishment that they get the right conditions - if you are brave enough to give it a go!

    1. Thanks for the link, here is one for you - if you have deep pockets - more trilliums than you can wish for!

Top of my wish-list is Trillium grandiflorum Snowbunting, but it is soooo expensive :-)

Have a great week-end, take care, Helene.
