Springboard

Hi everyone. Here we are on the 19th January already. It does not seem long since we were posting Christmas cards.

We have had many sunny but rather cold frosty days, however this does not stop life in the garden.

Soon all our snowdrops shall be blooming. In my own garden 4 are in bloom and the rest are not far behind.

Last year I personally collected and planted out a mass carpet of snowdrops in our local community garden and I popped down the other day to see if the snowdrops were showing, but no sign yet. As you can see, we have a big task ahead of us!

Over the next few weeks I will be taking photos of the changes as the colours evolve in the garden.

Spring is my favourite time of the year with all the different spring bulbs and I will share with you my pots of tulip bulbs I planted back in early Autumn. They are now starting to show through.

In the photo below you can see one of my hellebores in bloom. I have so many of these treasures dotted around the garden.

The pot on its side is a spilling pot of Muscari. It wasn’t always broken but now adds to the effect in my garden.
